Staying Safe With Yoga
Many people experience yoga for the first time in a setting that may not be the most appropriate for their bodies to begin the practice. While yoga offers an incredible space to discover one’s habits and holding patterns in the body and develop strength both outside and inside it is important to listen to our bodies and respond to our needs rather than push our self into something we think we should look like or be like. Reading the article Women’s Flexibility is a Liability (in Yoga) rings another bell to do the deep work of listening to our inner wisdom and let go of the false expectations of our ego mind in order to stay physically safe while living our life with joy and ease.
